From the Economist – house prices in the US have dropped over the three months to September. The reasons behind this are the end of the government’s tax incentives and ongoing foreclosures which increases supply of houses on the market. There are those that think that this double dip will be prevalent in the US economy as a whole.
I picked this up from the New York Times website. Quite a quirky/country type song about the likelihood of a double-dip recession.
